Included Prototypes for In Game Timers


As of 11/16 I was able to add some prototypes for the in game timers. The red bar will represent the timer for each planet objective and the numeric clock will represent the time left in the game. I was able to fix the player character sprite from being behind the background image as well. I had set the background image to be an image on the UI canvas so no matter what it would always be in front since UI has to be in the foreground. I just made the background image its own sprite and resized it accordingly.  I wasn't able to make more animation but I focused my time instead on making some of the code. I coded the functionality of the timers as well as the movement of the player character. 

As far as playtesting this week I got a few recommendations to work with the fonts displaying the time to make sure it's clear and to make the player movement feel better. 

For this coming week I need to work on quite a few things. An alpha is coming up due and quite frankly I'm not sure if I can have one done. Even if I miss this deadline I'm determined to have this game done and polished by the end of the semester. I definitely want to have a main menu, some more sprites, and animations done, and hopefully some more code for the main mechanics done.
